Whether you’re travelling north or south on highway 80, just take the Gilman street exit. Get on Gilman street going east, toward the University of California. You’ll cross railroad tracks within two blocks; that’s Third street. Go two more blocks to Fifth street and turn right. Drive two and a half blocks, and on the left side of the street, in the middle of the block you’ll see a three story, brown shingled house: 1449 Fifth. It’s the largest house on the block, so you can’t miss it. My studio is on the ground floor, so just come to the front door and ring the bell.
